RED LANTERN FM INVITES CHAO BAR&RECORD STORE: SPRING FESTIVAL SPECIALS- EP.3

Red Lantern FM

We close our Spring Festival Special series with a set by AP-C, released on the day before the Lantern Festival, celebrating the first full moon of the lunar new year.

A Taipei-based DJ and visual creator, born in the analog-to-digital crossover of the 90s, AP-C treats music as a second language beyond image. Since entering the electronic scene in 2022, he has moved fluidly through techno, tribal, IDM, breakbeat, and bass, drawn to evolving rhythms and percussive depth. For him, sound and image are intertwined vocabularies, forming a distinctive and evolving mode of expression.

Recorded in early spring 2026, this set translates the sensation of flow into an auditory landscape. It captures the sense of transition as we embark on a new year, carried forward by the persistence of the rhythm. There’s a luminous, forward-driving energy throughout, echoing the brightness of the full moon and the collective pulse of the Lantern Festival celebration.
